Design process

I start close to the people who'll use the product: their pressures, their workarounds, the moments where things go wrong. That research becomes one clear problem the whole team agrees on before any screens exist. Then it's structure and flows first, wireframes second, and prototypes tested with real users last, with design reviews along the way so decisions get made once and stick. The shape changes with every team and product; the order rarely does.

Discover / Empathize. Getting close to the people who'd use it: empathy mapping to understand the real pressures, workflows and user journey behind the problem. Define. Organizing that research into a clear problem statement, then narrowing and prioritizing features and defining requirements, so the whole team was solving the same problem. Develop. Shaping the information architecture and user flows: an end-to-end service blueprint connecting roles, data and touchpoints across the whole system. Iterate. Wireframing early ideas, then iterating on flows and layout through ongoing feedback and design reviews. Deliver. Creating prototypes and testing ideas with users, making adjustments through live design reviews, finalizing decisions before each release.
